Mushroom Honey Prawn

I seem to be on a sea food spree the last few days...to continue with it I have here my Mushroom Honey Prawn. This recipe is for all those who love the sweet n sour curries.I had made this yesterday with some apprehension, for, I was not sure of my husband's selective taste buds...But to be honest, I have nothing left now. He cleaned off the plate with all those parathas!

Mushrooms-200g(cut into pieces)
Prawns-200g(shells removed and deveined)
Onions-2medium-chopped thin
Tomato-2 medium-Chopped
Green chillies-3 (pounded)
Pepper corns-25g(Crushed)-You can personalise it based on u'r preferences
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Dhaniya Powder-1 tsp
Dill leaves-1 sprig(Optional)
Tamarind paste-1tsp
Honey-1 Tbsp
Garam Masala-1 tsp(Aniseed+Cardamom+Cinnamon+Cloves+Fennel seed)
Curry leaves-A sprig
Bay leaves-2
Oil-As required
Milk-1/2 cup
Water-1 cup

Heat Oil in a deep bottomed pan.Once the oil is hot add Bay leaves,Curry leaves & garam masala. Simmer the flame and saute it for a couple of minutes. Now add Onions.Saute it till it becomes transluscent.Add Tomato.Saute it till it becomes pulpy. Now add the pounded ginger, garlic and green chilli, turmeric powder, crushed pepper corns, dhaniya powder and saute it for a couple of minutes.Add Prawns, saute it for 3 minutes followed by mushrooms.Mix everything well and now add milk and water, cover the pan and leave it to cook on medium flame.Add Dill leaves,Tamarind paste and Honey.Mix well.Keep stirring it occasionally and cook it till the water evaporates(nearly 10 minutes) and the masala covers the prawns like a thick coating.Serve it hot with Parathas/Chappathis.

There is a brown shade with your blog which makes the reading slightly difficult. Infact the posts are too good. It would be great if you cud remove that brown shade.
Thank you,
