Crunchy Prawn fry
Last few days blogger has been a real pain that I had almost concluded that my blogger.com was soon heading towards its nemesis...Well, one cannot blame them too for the no. of users availing this free service is indeed very huge... Luckily today I could somehow manage to upload some of my snaps...Blogging has become so much an obsession now that my fingers were itching to post all those recipes....I'm not sure how much the blogger will bear with me...so I think I need to cut the story short! This is a crunchy prawn fry, the crunchiness attributed to the batter coating.
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Baking soda-1 pinch
Oil-for deep frying
Marinate the prawns with chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt and pepper.Leave it for 15 minutes. Mix corn flour, baking powder,salt & Pepper to beaten egg yolk.Add milk. Mix well. Dip each prawn in the batter, dust it with the rusk powder, and deep fry until golden brown and well cooked(~5 minutes).Transfer it to a paper towel and eat it as an appetizer/side dish.
