MushroomChilli

 



















I was too lazy to do anything very ceremonial after the biriyani...wanted to vanish from kitchen soon...So made this quick mushroom chilli and some lightly spiced organic pasta...The day looks so dull and cloudy and I feel so morose...hw climate can change u'r moods!! I just feel like being silent for a while...So straight to the recipe without much banter!!

Ingredients:

Mushrooms-200g-chopped
Orange Bell pepper-1/2 chopped
Green chilli-4-chopped
Tomato Sauce-1 1/2 tbsp
Red chilli sauce-1 tbsp
Soya sauce-1 tbsp
Onion-1 large- chopped
Ginger--20g(pounded)
Garlic-25g(chopped thin)
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Salt-as reqd
Oil-as rqd
Coriander leaves-3 sprigs

Method:

Heat

Heat oil.Add onion.Saute it till it becomes transluscent and slightly browned.Add ginger,garlic,green chilli.Saute them till they become soft and give a fine aroma.Now add the sauces.Add mushroom.Saute them together till mushrooms becomes soft.Now add salt and pepper.Finally add the orange pepper.Saute for a couple of minutes and serve it hot with some chopped coriander leaves with some noodles or lightly spiced pasta. Posted by Picasa

Thats a great recipe!! I am going to try this soon. Wow you whip up something like this when you don't feel like doing anything??

Hi Shynee! What you've written in your profile section really cracked me up-'experiments on guinea pig called husband'Haha, couldn't stop laughing...
Great effort at that biryani, too many things were happening in my life around that time, so couldn't contribute to the parade, so reading all your entries was fun :)

And come on Cheer up, we cant let things like weather affect our mood can we? It's pouring cats and dogs each day in Bombay !
