Crab fry

Crabs are real exotic sea food one can never resist...though a bit difficult to cut and clean, one can dish out various combinations with crabs. Here is a simple crab fry.

Ingredients

Serves-2

Crabs-4-(Cleaned & cut into half, may or may not retain the claws)
Red chilli powder-1tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Corn flour-1tsp
Egg-1- beaten
Salt-as required
Oil-for deep fry

Method

Marinate the crabs with red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, corn flour and beaten egg. Leave it in the fridge for 1 hour. Now heat oil in a deep bottomed wok. When the oil is sufficiently hot, dip the marinated crabs in the oil. You may pour the remaining marinade into the oil, but see to it that it doesnt get charred...stir occasionally. Fry it for nearly 10 minutes.Once the crabs are cooked, transfer it to a paper towel and then into a plate. Now enjoy your crab fry!
