Batter Fried Chicken

ChickenDrumsticks/Chicken breasts-4
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
(those who like it spicier can add 1tsp red chillipowder for marinating)

For the batter:

Egg yolks-2
Milk-1/2cup
All purpose flour-5tbsp
Corn flour-1tbsp
Salt and pepper-as required
oil- for deep-frying

Method

Marinate the Chicken with ginger-garlic paste and lemon juice for about 30 minutes.(Alternatively, those who want it less spicier can just brine the chicken pieces,i.e.,just boil the chicken pieces in salt water).Make a smooth batter with allpurpose flour, corn flour, pepperpowder, egg and milk.(Should be neither too thin nor too thick)
Heat oil in a wok.Dip the marinated chicken in the batter and slide down slowly into the hot oil.Deep fry until golden-brown.Transfer the fried chicken pieces to a paper towel to remove excess oil.Serve hot with baked beans or tomato sauce. Enjoy it with a glass of coke as a starter or as a side dish!

Hello! I am replying to the comment you posted at my blog regarding the meme. If you find it interesting, you are supposed to list 10 things you miss of your mom's cooking. And at the end, you can tag another blogger/bloggers who haven't played this game yet. Hope that helps. Please ask if you have any more questions.
